Nurses

Job description

Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Most registered nurses work as part of a team with physicians and other healthcare specialists.

Responsibility

Nurses are responsible for recognizing patients' symptoms, taking measures within their scope of practice to administer medications, providing other measures for symptom alleviation, and collaborating with other professionals to optimize patients' comfort and families' understanding and adaptation.

  • Perform physical exams and health histories before making critical decisions.
  • Provide health promotion, counseling and education.
  • Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
  • Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.

Requirements

State issued professional licensed certifications: RN - LPN - CNA - PT - OT - ST - COTA - RTA - CPR - BCLS - ACLS

Current Physical Exam - within one year

PPD - if negative within one year

Chest x-ray - if PPD positive within two years

Proof of lab work required (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hep B)s

Passport or other government issued picture ID

INS documentation if non-US citizen
